The Teds Agency is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

What we will do with your contact information

The Teds Agency will never disclose any of your personal details to any third party, unless legally obliged to by UK Government authorities.

Opt out

When you register on the site you will be given the opportunity to opt out of receiving any communication from us other than that required to process your registration or subsequent orders. At any point you can change this preference in your account details.

In accordance with the Privacy & Electronic Communications Act passed into law 11 Dec 03, we do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam).

All of the personal information you enter, including your name, address and password, are held securely on the Netbanx database. This ensures that no unauthorised users can access the data.

If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the forgot your password button which will prompt you to enter your email address. You will then be automatically sent your password.

Credit card transactions

Your card details are transferred directly to our Payment Service Provider (www.netbanx.com) for immediate authorisation and are not recorded or stored in our database, or viewable by any of our staff. Once we have received authorisation from our Payment Service Provider we will confirm your order.

Terms and Conditions of Sale

General

The 'Company' means The Teds Agency Ltd. The 'Purchaser' means the person whose order is accepted by the company. The 'Recipient' means the person who receives the goods from the Company as directed by the Purchaser.

Prices & Taxes

All prices quoted on this Website are, where appropriate, inclusive of VAT at the current rate. The confirmation of despatch e-mail includes a VAT receipt for users who can reclaim VAT. A Purchaser from countries where VAT is not applicable will not be charged VAT at the time of their order unless the order is being sent to a UK or EU address. For EU users that can reclaim VAT (i.e. businesses), you will be prompted for your VAT number during the checkout procedure. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches the destination country of the Purchaser will be the responsibility of the Purchaser as the Company have no control over these charges.

Delivery

The Company will use their reasonable endeavours to deliver goods promptly but cannot accept any liability for delay in delivery for any cause.

Returns and Refunds

The Company will fully refund any goods that are returned by the Purchaser within fourteen days of receipt. The Purchaser is responsible for the cost of returning any goods unless the Company deems them to have been damaged or faulty on arrival. All goods must be returned complete, in perfect condition, unused, and in original packaging (see Returns for further information).

Governing Law and Contract Formation

At the point an order is submitted, it is deemed that the Purchaser has agreed to, and is bound by, the terms and conditions herein described by the company. That acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time the Company sends the e-mail confirmation to the Purchaser (whether or not you receive that e-mail). For the avoidance of doubt, any such contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom. Further, any such contract will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of England and the Purchaser and the Company irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Statutory Rights

Nothing in the Terms and Conditions of Sale shall affect the Statutory Rights of the Purchaser.
